Today saw us leave Canberra for Cooma.  None of us wanted to leave the absolutely luxurious accommodation of the Crowne Plaza and we did not leave until 8:30 am.  Fortunately, by then the temperature had climbed to something resembling warm... The cruise out of Canberra was uneventful with even a recumbent passig us... and Cobby wearing his pink 'robe'.  However, soon the pace heated up.  Riding as a pack we rode the next 140kms at a phenomenal pace, averaging 33km/h by the time we had lunch in Moss Vale. After lunch, we were joined by some of the old hands who could not ride the tour this year, but nonetheless had ridden to Mittagong to ride the last day with us.
