I first decided to ride in the Tour de Kids because… David Kirkby and I thought it would be a good idea to run a Charity ride. To ride as a Tour de France Rider for a week then to also make a difference in the community. I had done some work with Starlight on a Golf Day I organised as Director of the Colliers Parramatta office in 2000 and made the connection with David’s idea about a Charity ride

My motivation for supporting Starlight and the other charities… is to help others in need

I’m most inspired by… anyone who overcomes a fear and does something they never thought they could do.

My first bike was… a Malvern Star 3 speed Dragster – awesome!

Before I ride… I must always put my clothes on.

My toughest Tour de Kids moment was…hearing the pain one of our rider’s families went through with their sick daughter who had Leukemia and passed away at the age of 7.

My greatest Tour de Kids moment was…when I saw that same dad conquer the Snowy Mountains on a long tough day as a way of saying thanks to Starlight for the wish his daughter received. By doing so he buried the demons and could move on with his life.

The other riders say…I am “Da Man!” TDK 07 - you had to be there!

My favorite gadget is…my Heart Rate Monitor.

If I wasn’t me I’d like to be...Happy who I am.

If only I could…spend more time on the bike.

If I wasn’t riding I would be…surfing, skiing, fishing, motorbike riding ……etc
