I first decided to ride in the Tour de Kids because…3 other guys at work were TDK riders, it is a good cause and I needed a challenge.

My motivation for supporting Starlight and the other charities… I am far more fortunate than others and it is my way of helping others.

I’m most inspired by… Michael Pallin.

My first bike was… Apollo Mountain Bike.

Before I ride I must always… pump the tyres.

My toughest Tour de Kids moment was… Day 1 in 2004, riding into a headwind in 38 degree heat – I thought I must have signed up to the wrong event.

My greatest Tour de Kids moment was…going to Albury hospital to visit the kids while on tour.

The other riders say I am… crazy.

My favorite gadget is… my iPod.

If I wasn’t me I’d like to be… Maverick (Top Gun).

If only I could… play an instrument.

If I wasn’t riding I would be… sleeping.
